After 20 or so resets I have the 5N connected to a Netgear Orbie (mesh) router at home after doing the pin hole reset and connecting directly to a mac via ethernet port. The installer said it was old tech vs new tech. The Drobo 5N stopped showing up in Dashboard and would only connect if you used finder to connect to server manually.
We had the same thing happen to our office DROBO 5N except that management replaced an old apple router with a new Eero router.
